Halloween 42

Hanging Halloween dummy wasn't: "David Pescovitz: A corpse hanging from a tree on the side of the road in Frederica, Delaware swung for hours because drivers assumed it was a gag. Turns out it was a 42-year-old woman who had committed suicide. From the Associated Press:

'They thought it was a Halloween decoration,' Fay Glanden, wife of Mayor William Glanden, told The (Wilmington) News Journal.

'It looked like something somebody would have rigged up,' she said.
